Quick Overview

We're delighted to bring this Community lot to the Roastery. This El Rodeo lot is part of the Community Coffee Program Coop Tarrazú which aims to recognise and reward the exceptional work of the coffee farmers that produce these amazing coffees. The premiums generated from these coffees is transferred directly to the communities. In 2012 the money generated from the Trinidad community lot (another lot part of the program) was used to tarmac the road. This provides easy access to their houses and also make it easier to deliver the coffee to the main bank station - which in the past proved very tricky in the rainy season.

This is a wonderful coffee from the excellent Tarrazú region, grown at 1650-1800 masl made up of Caturra & Catuai varietals by the El Rodeo community of farmers.

The coffee is intensely floral with notes of jasmine & lavender. There is a wonderful sweetness and zing to the front end, that softens out and deepens. Very clean and juicy moutfeel. Scrumptous!
