Brumas del Zurquí was established in 2004 by Juan Ramon Alvarado and Natalia Gomez, whose family has been involved in coffee production since 1890. Juan Ramon Alvarado is an agronomist who graduated from Earth University in Costa Rica and is an expert in analysing sugar levels in honey coffee. The Brumas del Zurquí micromill processes 100% honey coffee from two family farms.

This particular lot comes from El Centro farm situated on Volcan Barba in Heredia in the Central Valley. Located on the incredibly rocky slopes of the volcano, the coffee trees are bathed in cool, misty breezes throughout the day and night. At the mill, high winds are constant, helping to produce the perfect conditions for a clean and sweet honey processed coffee.

Juicy, sweet and spicy with flavours of caramel, mango and cinnamon. Notably clean with bright acidity and a creamy body.
