This is one of the few blends that uses a 20% African robusta inclusion.  Another of our very dark roasted coffees.  This coffee is included to increase  the depth of flavour and provide lower, earthy tones as a counter-balance to the brighter tones of the Central American coffees.  This is a very traditional deep-roast coffee with a strong, almost treacle licorice finish.
