Brazil Bourbon - 500g
Brazil is the giant of the coffee producing industry. Not only is Brazil the largest supplier of coffee globally but they also manage to produce some of the best coffees in the world. The word 'Bourbon' refers to a single-seeding coffee plant variety. The name Bourbon is derived from the Reunion Islands, formally known as Bourbon Islands, where the plant was cultivated after being give to Louis XIV by the Mayor of Amsterdam in 1713. It is said to have arrived in Brazil around 1720. The coffee is hand-picked in a Fazenda (farm) and has uniquely delicate flavours with a fruity aroma.
Brazil Bourbon has a deep, natural sweetness, balanced with cedar and fruit tones. There are also traces of caramel and chocolate flavours which add to it's full body and fine acidity.
