This coffee has a lovely crisp acidity with a very clean cup and notes of tangerine. It has a lovely sweet finish.

Situated just a few miles north of Quito, Ecuador’s bustling capital, is the canton of Pedro Moncayo in the Pichincha Province. Known for its rich volcanic soils, this region is home to towering mountains and rumbling volcanoes, making it an ideal place to grow coffee.

Thus, coffee farms spread throughout the country, and you could find coffee trees throughout 7 different regions: Manabí, Carchi, Loja, Zamora-Chinchipe, El Oro, Pichincha, and the Galapagos Islands. Thanks to the differing altitudes of these regions, the coffee cherries are able to slowly develop, creating a complex and balanced tasting profile.

This is a fully washed coffee from a community lot of farmers in the Pichincha region of Ecuador.
