    Terms & Conditions

    Payment Terms: A variety of options are available to you so you can pay for your order, these are:

    1. Paypal - Our Paypal address is sales@coffeecompass.co.uk.
    2. Credit/Debit Card - Using Shopify payments (powered by Stripe) as a secure server we accept Visa, Mastercard, Electron, Solo, Switch & Maestro. No Card details are recorded and the payment pages are fully encrypted.
    3. Telephone - If you would prefer not to pay online, simply call us and give your details over the phone.
    4. We accept payments in British Pounds (£) only.


    Delivery: All orders will be sent out within 14 days however the vast majority of orders are dispatched within 1 or 2 business days and we try our utmost to roast and dispatch orders on the same day. For the majority of Mainland UK addresses we use Parcel Force. Some orders may be sent by Royal Mail First Class, this especially applies to smaller items (under 750g inc packaging). Postage for items of 500g or less is £3.40 and £4.50 for items over this weight.

    The following Post Codes are classed as "Rest of UK" and are not included within the Mainland UK section. The following postcodes will generally be sent by Royal Mail:

    The Highlands and Islands of Scotland - postcodes IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE.Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isles of Scilly -postcodes BT, IM, TR21-25.Please note that our delivery company classify the Channel Islands and the Irish Republic as International Destinations. Delivery to these areas will be considerably higher than our standard charge. We will confirm the delivery charge to you before accepting your order. We also remind customers that our courier will request a signature upon delivery. We do not ship outside of the UK.

    Due to the nature of coffee production we cannot guarantee that new crops will meet the high standards we demand and therefore we will not reorder the new season's yield. Therefore we reserve the right to substitute coffee you have ordered for a similar or better coffee when required.


    Cancellation Rights: You the consumer have the right to cancel as required by the Distance Selling Regulations. This outlines your right to cancel your order within seven working days from receiving your order by contacting us in writing (email will suffice). It is then your responsibility as the customer to ensure the item(s) are sufficiently packaged within an outer-packaging (for protection) and returned back to the Coffee Compass Ltd as soon as possible. We will issue a full refund within 30 days of your cancellation. The Coffee Compass Ltd is not required to pay for the cost of consumers returning goods.

    Subscriptions: You the customer can choose to subscribe to certain coffees where you can choose the amount you'd like and the time frame required - with a 10% discount. From this point on you will then receive the opted amount at the interval set & payment will be taken automatically until cancellation, which can be done at any time. The subscription is a hassle free way of ordering the coffee you love at increments you desire. If the coffee becomes unavailable we reserve the right to substitute for a similar or better coffee when necessary. If you have any questions on the subscriptions, then please contact us.  


    Here at the Coffee Compass ltd we are dedicated to safeguarding your privacy and we take this very seriously. Any information we ask for will only be used for processing and ordering coffee. Your details will not be sold or passed on to any other outside company.
