This wonderful coffee is grown in the world famous Poços de Caldas region, in Minas Gerais, Brazil's largest coffee growing region (and thus the world). This coffee is 100% Mundo Novo varietal and is grown at ~1200m.a.s.l. There are notes of dark chocolate and cherry liquor with a soft but welcome acidity. Very smooth. Very easy to drink & very moreish!

Nossa Senhora da Aparecida has been producing coffee for over 50 years, with a rich heritage passed down from generation to generation. The family’s dedication and passion for coffee cultivation have consistently resulted in high-quality coffee. Over the decades, they have built a legacy of tradition, hard work, and commitment to sustainable practices, always striving to produce the finest coffee that honors our history and culture.

All the cherries are hand picked and then natural lots are immediately dried in the sun on the farm’s patios with the cherry still attached, typically producing a fruitier, wilder cup. The coffee is then kept in parchment in wooden resting bins for a minimum of 60 days before the final dry milling and sorted immediately prior to export.
