Following the success of the Mahogany Roast Jampit Hit we decided to come up with another darker roasted coffee of similar boldness but with a different character. The Malabar Hit uses (you guessed it) Indian Monsoon Malabar as the foundation. It is a full bodied coffee with a deep, dark chocolate, rich and somewhat spicy malty flavour. This is combined with a Java Lingtong grade 1, Ethiopia Sidamo and Brazil Ipanema.
Like the Jampit Hit, the Malabar Hit is roasted on the darker side (mahogany roast) giving a gutsy, roasty profile that serves up an intense espresso or has the ability to keep its bold flavour in milk.
